About Blessing Dental

Margaret qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1992. Upon qualifying Margaret worked in London for 5 years. This was followed by a move to Australia where she worked in Sydney Dental Hospital and with the Flying Doctors. She then returned to Ireland to set up her own practice in her home town of Portmarnock in 2003.

Margaret has great connections with the community of Portmarnock. She attended both primary and secondary schools in Portmarnock and supports local groups and charities. Margaret continued to further her dental education and completed Postgraduate studies in Clinical Dentistry at Trinity College Dublin, before a move to Northern California for 5 years where she continued her studies in San Francisco and Sacramento, returning from California in 2019.

She prides herself on providing a calm and relaxed treatment to her patients and ensuring a high quality level of care. Her main interests are travelling, reading, coaching basketball and spending time with her family and pets!

Katherine qualified from The University of Sheffield in 2010.

She went on to study postgraduate courses in endodontics, paedodontics and facial aesthetics. Katherine set up her own business in facial aesthetics in 2019 called The Skin Revival Clinic. She really enjoys general dental practice and working as a close knit team, and finds treating nervous patients and children particularly rewarding, building a rapport with her patients and putting them at ease while completing their treatment.

Katherine also provides facial aesthetic treatments such as anti-wrinkle, botox, dermal and lip fillers and enjoys seeing how it can make a great difference to a patient's confidence.

Her interests outside of the dental practice are keeping fit, ballet, creative activities and walking her much loved little dog.

Kim began in Blessing Dental six years ago. Prior to this she was a legal secretary and worked in retail where she was promoted to head sales executive.

She studied dental nursing at Trinity College while receiving training in our dental practice and qualified as a dental nurse in 2019.

Her kindness, patience and effervescent personality means she is much loved by her work colleagues and adored by our patients. Her infectious sense of humour relaxes our patients and has them in fits of giggles!

Kim loves all things arts and crafts and is very creative. She recently became a mum and is embracing this role as she does everything, wholeheartedly and brilliantly.

Laureen Joy is our friendly, efficient dental receptionist.

Laureen has a Masters in Law and has studied in both Ireland and Kenya. She plans to study dental nursing next year and add another qualification to her already impressive skill set!

She is an avid reader, loves cooking and travelling and exploring new places.

Her gentle disposition and kind manner ensure a warm and relaxing experience in our dental practice.

Greta is currently studying to be a dental nurse and she is learning at a lightning rate.

She has a level 5 qualification in Beauty and has worked in Dublin airport in Customer Services.

Her interests include reading, travelling, going to the gym, and she is also very creative and loves art and crafts. She has a kind and sympathetic manner. We are lucky to have her onboard and support her during her training.
